FAQ

FAQ

Still got questions? Feel free to reach out. We're happy to help.

Who is this gathering for?

SEATED is designed for young adults ages 18–29 who want to grow in their faith, build meaningful community, and discover what it means to follow Jesus in everyday life.

Do I need to be Lutheran to attend?

No. Everyone is welcome. While the gathering is rooted in the Lutheran tradition, young adults from all backgrounds are invited to join us.

What can I expect?

Four days of worship, practical teaching, breakout sessions, community experiences, service opportunities, and time to rest, reflect, and reconnect with God.

Can I come by myself?

Absolutely. Many attendees arrive without knowing anyone. SEATED is intentionally designed to help you meet people and build lasting friendships.

What should I bring?

Bring a Bible, a notebook, comfortable clothes, and an openness to what God might want to do in your life.

Where will the gathering take place?

SEATED will be held in Omaha, Nebraska, from July 28–31, 2027.

Will lodging be available?

SEATED will be held in Omaha, Nebraska, from July 28–31, 2027.

Are meals included?

Meal information will be provided in Fall 2026. Some meals will be included. Others will not. It is our hope and goal to keep overall cost to a minimum so we will be as generous as possible with meal options.

Can I attend with my church or ministry group?

Yes. We encourage churches and ministries to bring groups. Special group registration options will be available Fall 2026 for groups over 10. If registering as a group, all registration information will be needed at time of registration.

What if I'm struggling in my faith right now?

Then this gathering is especially for you. SEATED is a place for the tired, the searching, the doubting, and the hopeful. There is room for your questions, your story, and your next step.

What does "Seated" mean?

The theme comes from the truth that Jesus is seated at the right hand of the Father. Because He reigns, we don't have to live anxious, overwhelmed, or afraid. The throne is occupied, and there is a seat for you at the table.
